Why we love the disruptors



The "big bang disruption" is a  term coined by Larry  Downes, project director at George town centre for project and Business and public policy, and Paul F. Nunes, global managing director at the Accenture institutes of High performance in March 2013.
Disruptions in business model has come to stay and companies that are not strong enough are at risk of been phased out. Entrepreneurs who have a Firm Grasp of consumer needs are using technology to their advantage. Every industry is at risk of the Disruptors to the extent that a whole product line could be rendered obsolete within a shortest possible time.
From Steve jobs of Apple to Mark Zurkerberg of Facebook, to Larry page of Google to uber of Ubar taxi; these innovators has been unconventional in their business approach. End users has come to Love their inventions because these innovators has a firm grasp of consumer needs, created demand and stayed ahead of the curves.
The question is why did the Consumers Love the disruptors?

 1. Change in consumer taste and preferences
How would you rate a restaurant that has been offering same menu since ten years ago? would they be able to keep the same customers by selling just the same product in decade? That could require magic. Taste and preferences is changing- only the brands that can constantly forecast the trend could survive. 


2. Cheaper and better product
The disruptors introduce cheaper and better product or process. As a customer service expert, I observed that almost all customers are smart when it comes to prices. They spends hours monitoring prices online to get the best deal. Consumers spend above their budget whenever online stores are offering special promo. It is no more a secret why consumers love the disruptors.


3. Build better relationships with consumers
The disruptors quietly earned the trust of their customers. Trust is one of the necessary elements to building better relationships.


4. Continuous innovation
Tech conscious companies consistently open new business frontiers and consolidate all their product in one suit. For instance, from Google home page, almost all Google product can be accessed. Consumers love this because it saves them the stress of navigating. The biggest disruptors are consistently innovating.
