Last Saturday, I enjoyed a perfect weather and although I felt like death warmed over I went outside to enjoy it. In the last post I took pictures at the World Trade Center here and after that walked to Brookfield Place to get something to eat because I know their food court is really good. Besides being right next to the World Trade Center Brookfield Place is situated on the banks of the Hudson and always has art installations on display within and around the grounds. I knew of a new one that was really interesting and that I just had to shoot because it was super cute. It is called Intrude by Amanda Parer and it is huge( about thirty feet big ) white bunnies places all over the plaza. Here is a quote from the info given out at the plaza:

Seven monumental glowing rabbits by Australian artist Amanda Parer invade Brookfield Place for two weeks this Spring. The visual humor evoked by the seven enormous rabbits lures audiences into the artwork to reveal a more serious environmental message.

Who doesn’t love bunnies? Come on really who doesn’t? To see the kid’s faces of amazement at the size of the rabbits that they were taking pictures with. Actually the children were trying to hug the blow up bunnies. It was seriously adorable. Adults became children staring at them as well.
