Ashanti region two Robbers have been killed by the Police nearby Kumasi.

The occasion occurred in the early hours of Thursday, June 30, 2016.

Ashanti regional Police Command, Public Relations Officer of the area, ASP Mohammed Tanko, who definite the killing of the robbers to media, said the police were yet to passing the update on the occurrence.

The region has recently expert many robbery assaults, a condition that compelled the police to declare wanted nineteen notorious robbers, one of them a discharged police constable, Murtala Mohammed, who is supposed to be running criminal gangs terrorizing residents in and around Kumasi area.

“We have detained some of them but a common of them are still at large. Now we know some of their actions. We know Murtala …we have heard he’s crossed the limit to Burkina because he’s been calling a sister on a Burkina contact number. The rest, we are chasing them. But we have detained a handful of them,” ACP Osei Ampofo Duku, Provincial Deputy Commander, said currently.
