A Tamale High Court Chaired over by Mr. Justice Charles Gyamfi Danquah has punished one Zelia Sulemana to Death by hanging for killing.
The criminal murdered Rawdia Aminu, a student nurse a previous – girlfriend of one Alhassan Abdul -Rahman who is the existing boyfriend of the Convict.

Even though the connection between the dead and Abdul- Rahman ended before he met the Offender, there was still bad blood between the dead and Abdul – Rahman for which Abdul -Rahman specified that he will make his girlfriend beat up the dead.
The criminal later befriended the dead deceiving her that she was also attracted in becoming a nurse.
The convict without any provocation knifed the deceased two times in the chest and abdomen and the deceased fell down insensible.
The criminal made an attempt to flee from the scene on a motor bike but she was calm by a Good Samaritan. Upon understanding that she could not escape from the scene, the Offender slashed her hand claiming that it was the dead who inflicted the knife wounds on her. Both the dead and the convict were rushed to the Hospital for treatment but the object died soon after being admitted for treatment. Post-mortem conducted on the body of the dead exposed that the deceased died of “hemorrhagic shock, massive left haemothorax and stabbed wound to the left chest wall”.
At the end of the case the judge returned a unanimous judgement of guilty on her. The presiding judge ordered a Pregnancy Test to be showed on the Convict in view of the fact that the offence carries the death consequence. The pregnancy test however showed negative.
