The Community Health Nurses Association of Ghana has confirmed an unlimited strike.

The group of nursing is protesting what they define as unfair treatment, perception and disrespect they receive from the health ministry and the Nursing and Midwifery Association.

They are also plaintive the disregard of their duties and the consistent transfer to them as nurse-assistants.

They are therefore challenging the instant revision of their position to community Health Nurses.

The health workers also demanded, in a statement, that they are not given the suitable certification after they complete a ministry of health authorized diploma course at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
