Richard Asante
Ghanaian comic actor Richard Asante aka Kalybos has completed his graduation from the NAFTI this year.
The actor Kalybos who has already got a successful career in acting, graduated with a 4-year degree in Cinematography from National Film and Television Institute.
According to a media source, the actor also won the best student award in Cinematography for the graduating year. He graduated with twenty-four others and came out with a second class lower degree.
The school has given me a lot and I don’t think the certificate is what I’ll use to find a great job, but rather the skills I developed from the institute is what that matters, Kalybos said it during an interview.
Lately, the Silverbirds Cinema announced a film premiere he appeared in, “Amakye and Dede” produced by Kofas Media, as the most attended ever at the Accra & West Hills Mall.
The other casts of the movie, “Amakye and Dede”, include John Dumelo, Majid Michel, Roselyn Ngissah, Kalybos, Yaw Dabo, Ahuofe Patricia, Emelia Brobbey, Moesha Boduong, Apostle John Prah, Grace Nortey among others.
