The ex-Ashanti Gold head coach, David Duncan refused to accept the defeat stating that the result was nowhere close to a fair reflection of the game.

David Duncan stated:
“The performance from the boys was fantastic. I have not seen anything like it before from the Asante Kotoko players from the time when I took this job. What I am saying is, if we have our own stadium like it is here, I think that we will win the league as long as we want to.”
Asante Kotoko fell to the bottom of league table after their 1-0 loss away loss at the hands of Aduana Stars on Sunday. Kotoko will next host Liberty Professionals who trashed AshGold 5-1 at the Carl Reindorf Park on Sunday.
