Akufo-Addo mocks: Mahama’s fight against corruption a sham

Akufo-Addo who’s the Presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP),  has derided President Mahama’s Fight against corruption, describing it as a sham.

According to the Akufo-Addo, even the efforts of independent anti-corruption institutions to tackle the canker have been undermined by the NDC-led Government.

Moreover, Akufo-Addo  has described that, “The Independent Governance Institutions mandated to perform this function have been starved of funds. The Auditor General, for example, in 2013, complained bitterly about this.”

Akufo-Addo  has addressed to the  teeming supporters of the party as he presented the party’s version of the State of the Nations Address christened ‘The Real State of the Nation’ in Accra Monday.

Akufo-Addo has analyzed the whole problems, which the Ghanaian has faced in the government of the Mahama, and he declared that the Mahama has not serious for the country.

Akufo-Addo  has stated that, “Every kilometer of road constructed by this government, every school block built under this government has cost more money than can be reasonably justified.”

Akufo-Addo  added that, “It is clear from the actions taken in cases like judgement debts, the World Cup saga, GYEEDA, SADA, the DVLA saga, the Metro Mass branding, etc., that the fight against corruption is a sham. I say again, the so-called fight against corruption is a sham.”
