The Private Universities Students’ Association of Ghana (PUSAG) speaks there are Plenty Jobs in the country to engage the number of Graduates churned out annually.

According to the President of Universities, Richard Odame, there is presently high Graduate joblessness rate because graduates absence the creativity and necessary skills needed to take up the accessible job openings.

“It will interest you to be familiar with that there are plenty jobs in the country, but most students are not ready to take up those jobs because they absence the skills,” he speak at a forum that required to interact, connect, and make capacity of private university pupils on the right path to take after school.

Therefore, he told the government cannot be responsible on the high Graduate Joblessness, saying “We cannot always responsibility the government for the discriminating Graduate Unemployment but our willingness to match up with the accessible opportunities”.

Mr Odame highlighted the need for graduates to look outside white collar jobs and be creative to suitable into the job market.

He advised the students to put to use all the things they are qualified and learn in school and struggle to be creative. This, he told, is the certain way to decrease graduate unemployment.
