U.S. President Barack Obama settled into the second day of his summer vacation on Sunday (August 7) with a round of golf on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.
At one stage, he turned to reporters after making a roughly 25 to 30 foot (7.5 to 9 meter) putt, just barely missing the hole.
“I hope you saw that,” Obama said smiling.
He was joined at the Farm Neck Golf Club in Oak Bluffs by friend Cy Walker and White House aide Joe Paulsen, as well as Chris Paul, a professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Obama is scheduled to be on holiday through August 21, along with his wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha.
