MyPhone doubles the fun with Rio budget smartphones
Just few days ago, the local smartphone giant MyPhone unveiled their new economical phones that refreshes the Rio lineup, the Rio Fun 3G and Rio 2 Fun.The Rio Fun 3G is an obvious 3G upgrade of the last Rio Fun and as for the Rio 2 Fun, it seems to be a downgraded version of the previous Rio 2. Given the specifications, Rio Fun 3G gets a decent number of upgrades which includes a bigger storage, a better back camera, and a 3G support that's all for the same price tag of Php 2,999. Meanwhile, comparing Rio 2 Fun with the Rio 2, you can notice that the downgrade is considerable. The processor and RAM retains however it loses the Gorilla Glass 3 protection, it has a lower screen resolution, lower camera resolution also losing the Sony sensor and Blue glass, and a reduced battery pack (2000 vs 2800). All in all, Rio 2 Fun seems to be good for a price of Php 3,499.
