Adelaide Wedding Photographer | Luke and Deanna – Married

I enjoy every single Wedding that I shoot.  Each one contains elements of the personal style of the couple joining together and for many, this includes sentimental pieces which, when the chapters are brought together, help to tell the story of the families, the people and that perfect day.

Luke and Deanna had many of those personal and sentimental elements which were important to them to include in their day.  Luke is a member of a choir and their guests were treated to their beautiful voices (without Luke of course!) whilst awaiting Deanna’s arrival.

For Deanna, this day was about a piece of jewellery; a beautiful little Brooch.  This particular brooch is handed down from Mothers to daughters in their immediate family to wear on their wedding day.  This has been the tradition since it was worn for the first time in 1925 by Madge Young (nee Eustice).  The brooch had originally belonged to Madge’s Mother, Emily.

Deanna is the sixth bride to wear this brooch.

Here in the beautiful Adelaide Hills where I live, I am simply spoiled for choice when it comes to locations for photo shoots.  Luke and Deanna’s wedding day was the first time I had photographed at the Stirling Golf Club and, needless to say, I definitely wasn’t disappointed.

Thank you to my partner in crime for the day, my second shooter Nadia from Earthbound Studio.
