MEA (monoethanolamide) and TEA (triethanolamine) are related chemicals of DEA which can react with other chemicals in cosmetics to form carcinogenic nitrosamines.

Toxic ingredients in Face Powder

Toxic ingredients in face powders include preservatives like quaternium-15 and imidazolidinyl urea that can be degraded into carcinogenic formaldehyde, BHT, a preservative and fragrance ingredient which can cause allergic reactions, and lanolin which sometimes behaves as skin irritant. Synthetic fragrances, which are added to many renowned cosmetic brands, can cause allergies and also contact dermatitis.
