Well it used to be if you were Glasses you were considered a dork or bookish. But all of a sudden, glasses are the new fashion statement – especially the less sexy kind, the kind your granddad wore.  But it’s true as we’ve seen the trend re-emerge in the latest fashion week, and in the mags. Even typically sans-glasses celeb males, are now showing up looking smart. The eyeglass trend is still in from last summer’s runway but a couple styles are more in focus.

DO: The Buddy Holly Glasses, the thick black rims are still in

These are still the top trend so whether you have an Rx or you just like the look, the Buddy Holly retro frames are still all the rage.

DO: The Slightly Rounded Tortoise Shell

These were once considered very dorky or only possible if you were still in elementary school, but these are actually back in for men. I’d be careful with this style though. You must be gorgeous and have the face shape and swag to pull it off.

DO: Grandpa Frames – These are in!

You know the silver rimmed frames or the have tortoise at the top and silver at the bottom frames like a Father Knows Bests kind of look? Well it’s suddenly sexy. Who knew?
