Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has put forward an initiative to enhance screening, diagnosis, treatment, services, and legal protections for individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The initiative would have four stages and seeks to ease the burdens that ASD can place on individuals and on families while creating a more community-based, sustainable approach to treatment.
