Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has written a letter to the celebrity of Bollywood to stop advertising the tobacco product which causes oral cancer.

The CM requested many celebrity like, Shahrukh Khan, Sunny Leone, Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan to join the ‘Anti Tobacco Campaign’ to reduce the number of death from oral cancer.

He added, “Apart from this, some of these advertisements are surrogate ads of tobacco products. Companies use them to advertise other products of their brand.”

In this letter director of Delhi government wrote that “You are seen endorsing Pan Masala and related products many times on television and other media. Even if these products don’t have nicotine in it they do have Betel Nut (supari) in it. There is no scientific research which states that betel nut doesn’t cause cancer.”
