Charity event in memory of Corporal Liam Riley

Charity event in memory of Corporal Liam Riley.

Cream Castles bouncy castle hire was absolutely delighted to be part of this amazing charity event, in memory of Corporal Liam Riley. This event has been an ongoing tribute since 2010, held every year at The Fox in Beighton, Sheffield.

The event is recognised by the well known charity Help For Heroes. Corporal Liam Riley, 21, was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. Trying to save the life of a friend who had also been blown up by a roadside bomb.

Corporal Riley was described as a ‘Legend’ by Prince Harry. After they had trained together in Canada two years before the fatal tragedy happened. Cream Castles took along two of our inflatables to the charity day. Free of charge and made a donation to Help For Heroes. Which is the chosen charity of the event organisers.

Everybody associated with the event put in an enormous amount of effort, to pull off one of the biggest and best days yet. From hog roasts to fair ground rides, live entertainment, bucking bronco, bouncy castles, just about everything imaginable was at the event.

The highlight of the day was a WW2 Spitfire flying over as a mark of respect for Corporal Liam Riley. Cream Castles would like to thank everybody for inviting us to such a great charity event, and hope to see you all next year.
