News In Brief: British Comic Artists Comment On The Brexit

The citizens of Great Britain voted if they want to stay part of Europe or not. As we all know the people who want to leave won with almost 52 percent. On this account british comic book artists commented on the Brexit on Twitter.

Al Ewing wrote for example: “Looking for a song to listen to on the train. “The Night You Murdered Love” by ABC. That’ll do. It’s cold, outside.”

Sean Phillips Opinion is that the day of the Brexit is worse than the day when David Bowie died. Warren Ellis says: “Dear Elon Musk, I may have interest in obtaining a Martian passport.”

Steve Dillon describes the situation as follows: “It’s not like Watching a car crash. It’s like watching people setting fire to their own cars and ramming into school buses at high speed.” Generally the comments about the Brexit were rather negative (surprise, surprise).
