Expectations are high for the upcoming sixth season of Game of Thrones, and HBO are doing everything they possibly can to keep their flagship show in the news.

The most recent marketing ploy employed involves the release of stills from the upcoming season. And it’s safe to say that most of the main players are looking rather miserable.

Most of the show’s main characters are facing a torrid time, yet the one character everyone wanted to see is Missing.

We see that Arya is coping with her blindness… just. We see that Daenerys has been taken captive. We see that Bran is a big boy now (where the hell was he in season five? And is he standing?). What we don’t see is Jon Snow.

Kit Harrington is till towing the HBO line be insisting he won’t be in season six, but we just don’t believe him. The smart money is on him returning as a White Walker, while some reckon he will be saved by the Lord of Light

Whatever happens, we’ll find out when Game of Thrones returns to UK screens on April 25 2016.
