Example of Negative Space with The Flash
Comic Art Terms – Negative Space
Negative space is the space around and between the subject of an image. Negative space may be most evident when it is the space around a subject, not the subject itself. It can form an interesting or artistically relevant shape. This technique can also emphasis and center on a subject by excluding any background elements. The use of Negative space can be any color, it does not need to be black or white.
