Naruto Shippuden anime episode release dates February 2016

Believe it or not, this is the final month of fillerology.

Update February 20: Guys, we have been trolled again as Itachi Shinden will premiere on March 3 in the same regular timeslot as Naruto Shippuden.

So this means that we will have at least two months of Itachi Shippuden! o.o

This month we have the long-awaited release of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4!

Latest details and news on Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 premiere

Well, as of this writing today is the release in Japan. The US and Europe will follow soon on February 9 .

And last minute goodies and surprises are the usual.

Bamdai and Shonen Jump magazine have reported that the DLC will feature Shikamaru story as playable after the Fourth Shinobi war in Story mode.

You will be able to fulfill missions requested by Sixth Hokage Kakashi ^^ Pretty neat, huh?

This also fills the gap on how Shikamaru became a Hokage Advisor.

Also, the DLC also features Naruto’s 7th Hokage Costume, Sasuke’s Wandering Shinobi Garment, and a special Naruto and Boruto combo as in the movie.

The Season Pass has been revealed to cost around $30 and will have more worlds, combo techniques, costumes (presumably for Sakura and Hinata) and extra playable characters.

Attack of the Fanboy already has the first review, and indeed is blowing everyone’s expectations away.

They have indicated that the highlight is definitely the Story mode, with state-of-the-art quality and effects, making you able to follow and play the manga till the very end.

However, it seems like they played it safe with the Adventure mode, more along the lines of your typical RPG, but with plenty of things to collect.

Whereas Siliconera has stated that the game takes about an hour to install on PS4

Boruto: Naruto the movie sequel put off indefinitely

I’ve been getting conflicting reports lately. What’s going on that they can’t make up their mind?

First, they postponed it to 2017, now they make it sound like it’s been cancelled.

But wasn’t Boruto a smash hit at the box office?

The issue may lay on Kishimoto-sensei, as he has insisted that he is done with Naruto, doesn’t want any involvement.

That’s why we are getting a new Boruto manga, so the future movie sequel will be based off that.

Boruto manga spinoff to be released in March

Shonen Jump magazine hasn’t specified a date yet, but they’re all set, with even spoilers on how Shikadai is Boruto’s rival in the first one shot, then a serialization.

We might see more of Uncle Gaara, as Shikadai is his nephew.

The manga will be written by Ukyo Kodashi, who has been Kishimoto-sensei long-time assistant, author of Gaara epilogue novel, and drawn by Mikio Ikemoto, also long-time assistant.

Kishimoto-sensei will serve as supervisor (and canonizer).

Will it do well? It’s been rumored that some character designs might change, but nothing too compromising.

Boruto will run monthly, despite all the other mangas running weekly. They’re really on the cautious side.

Ot they’re really afraid of the shippers and the Second Great Shipping War o.o

Upcoming Naruto DVD and Novel releases

What’s bothering me is that there’s no info or release date yet for Naruto Shippuden DVD Uncut 26 :/

Will they delay the DVD releases until the anime is done? Or are they just doing it in favor of the novels?

Don’t even get me started on the English dub, any news is non-existent at this point :/

This month we have the release of Shikamaru’s Story on February 2, already at a price of $8

In this story, Shikamaru must figure out the dissappeareance of a group of shinobi, including Sai, to this Land of Silence. Does it have something to do with ANBU Root?

Naruto: Sakura’s Story is the next novel set to be released on May 3rd, 2016.

And last but never least, the release of the long awaited Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 on February 9 for the US and Europe.
