Different Types of Steel Buildings | Buildings for sale

Steel buildings have different kinds of structures, sizes and designs. On the basis of structures, they are divided into three categories. These categories are listed with short descriptions below:

Quonset Structured Steel Buildings
The main function of Quonset Structures is to store grain and crops. They are ‘arch’ shaped (curved from above) buildings and are usually self-supporting. For building Quonset structures, the layers of arch are bolted together on ground and then assembled into the base. The modern Quonset structures are somewhat different from the older versions, with strong structures, more flexibility and less space invasion. These structures are cheapest to erect.

Hybrid Steel Structures
In these steel buildings structures, the internal frame resembles an open network design. The base is made of concretes. Steel binds are anchored to these bases. Every section of the frame is bolted at both ends. All the girths and internal design is made of wood and steel as well. The exterior of these steel buildings are covered with a thin sheet of galvanized steel.

I-Beam steel Building Structures
Most of steel buildings today are built on this format. The supporting structures include two roof sections and the side walls. They are huge structures and usually erected with a crane in supervision of experts. After erection, the structure is insulated and the exterior walls are covered with a thin sheet of steel.
