The Sun Rise by Odis Earl Tyler

The Sun Rise
                 By Odis Earl Tyler

While watching the sun rise,
it was so beautiful, So bright,
Wait this is like no other
sunrise I have ever seen,
Wait, this is not the sun,
it is the Lord,
The Lord in all His Glory.
There is music and singing then
He appears What glory what beauty
His arms stretched out,
the angel wings
Oh how beautiful, how glorious
The eastern sky was afire,
His robe blinding white.
I dropped to my knees as I heard the trump
He shouted it is time, time to take you home with me
The earth gave up the dead,
the living began to rise
Oh how glorious, oh how beautiful
The Lord has come, as he said He would
Oh, what a time, time when the believers are reunited,
Oh, how glorious, how beautiful,
What a sun rise, like no other I will ever see.
Because the sun will be no more the glory of
The Lord outshines the sun forever more.
