Nominations For Furlenco Best Villain Of 2015- Vote For The Most Menacing Villain!

One of the most challenging roles to play is that of a Villain. Don’t you agree? Bollywood is known for creating the most deliciously written grey characters and 2015 too saw a few films such as Badlapur, NH10 which had the antagonists play bigger roles.

Here’s a look at the nominations for Furlenco Best Villain of 2015:

Nawazuddin Siddiqui – Badlapur

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one actor who can pull off an impressive role in any genre. Playing the Negative lead of Badlapur, Nawaz’s Laik was hateful enough. In spite of being the negative lead in the film, his mix of comic antics with the grey shades thoroughly impressed everyone.

Darshan Kumaar – NH10

After debuting with Mary Kom, who would’ve thought Darshan Kumaar could pull off a negative character as well. Taking everyone by surprise, the actor made up for a promising villain in NH10. The actor delivered a strong performance as a Haryanvi lad who would not bat an eyelid before killing his own sister. Other than his body language, the actor worked well on the lingo too.

Suman Talwar – Gabbar Is Back

Suman Talwar is very well known for his role in Rajinikanth starrer Sivaji. The actor who played Digvijay Patil’s character in Gabbar Is Back was the lead antagonist in the film. Amongst the other nominees, Talwar seemed a little off his game. Especially against Akshay Kumar’s heroic character, his act was not hateful enough.

Chandan Roy Sanyal – Jazbaa

Chandan Roy Sanyal played the negative character in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s comeback film Jazbaa. Even though he had a small role, Sanyal who portrayed the character of a rapist did a great job. Easily bringing out a feeling a disgust, his genuine act deserves a nomination.

Kamlesh Sawant – Drishyam

Drishyam is such a film where one would have to debate about who actually plays the negative character. Not the lead antagonist but Kamlesh Sawant’s character of Gaitonde could easily send chills down your spine. As the ruthless cop, he managed to put up a strong act.
