The Emilio de le Morena spring/summer 2017 collection shown at London Fashion Week had a packed front row to see the brand take a significant move forward from previous seasons.

The collection draws heavily upon his Spanish heritage for inspiration.
Emilio explores the rich traditions of Spanish costume design from construction techniques and silhouettes to intricate fabric details and the variation from southern to northern Spain.
The variety of fabrics and techniques gesture towards a more typically avant-garde aesthetic while maintaining the brand's refined elegance.
Strong and sexy silhouettes reiterate Emilio's craftmanship. Fitted bodies with puffed sleeves sit alongside structured jackets with exaggerated peplums inspired by couture garment construction techniques from Valencia.
Emilo embraces colour this season. A rich and vibrant palette of fuchsia, tangerine and turquoise breathes life into the collection with flashes of interesting combinations of pink and red.
Additional colours of teal and grey provide a welcome contrast.
Stretched silk, pleated chiffon and ruched luxury cotton also come into play. Some embellished with handmade clay beads, offering an added element of texture.
Traditional ladylike accessories have been modernised to compliment the collection and include vibrantly coloured shoes inspired by the Las Fallas Festival in Valencia.
