Seeing the mountain Gorillas in Volcano park of Rwanda, Bwindi forest and Mgahinga park of Uganda and Virunga park in DR Congo is a memorable experience.

It all starts with securing  a gorilla Permit for respective destination at least a month in advance with a credible Tour operator / Tour company like Katona Tours and Travel or directly with UWA and RDB.

The peak months include  June, July, August, September, December, January and February whereas April, may and November are considered low season months so the cost of the gorilla permits for Uganda are relatively cheaper, costing 450USD per permit.

The Trekking exercise lasts from 1- 6 hours  depending on the location of the gorillas.

Gorilla trekking can be done any season and month of the year, depending on the Tourists preferences.
