Hit a Few Wrong Notes and Breathe

The fear of failure, making mistakes, hitting the wrong notes, can keep us in chains and stifle our creative exploration.

Creative genius emerges from experimenting, trial and error and the willingness to risk.

My perfectionism was once described to me as being trapped in a box. Ironic. Perhaps that’s where the saying “think outside of the box” came from.

Perfectionism is a by-product of harsh self-judgment and stems from insecurity.  It’s a badge worn by far too many adults.  If you suffer from it, please…jump now into the mud puddle of life and allow yourself to make messes.

Like a child, joyously immerse yourself in the moment.  Drop the rules and allow your sensibilities to guide you.
