The original novel itself is one of the earliest science fictions, a classic horror, and an everlasting masterpiece of Mary Shelley. In this fantastically chilling graphic novel, Wrightson brilliantly translates the horror of the story into pure illustration (without any texts). The black and white and rather raw style captures the atmosphere of the story of Frankenstein absolutely well. From each of illustration, we can feel the terror and mystery, with just the right amount of darkness in it.
