akká: lunch by the sea

I'm happy to be posting again after a long absence, which was partly due to Google's sign-in changes and insistence on using Hebrew language text in all their support pages including emails to my box. After several attempts and Lots of Google translating I am finally able to sign in to my blog! It wasn't fun that's for sure.

I have lots to share from the last several months. Today's post are photos from a November Lunch with a friend on the coast of Northern Israel, in Akká, one of the oldest cities in the world and rich with historical significance. It's also an important city in Bahá'i history. The prophet of the Bahá'i Faith, Bahá'u'lláh, spent two years imprisoned in Akká before He was moved to nearby Bahjí. His Shrine is at Bahjí.

After lunch my friend and I wander through the old city.  Next time I'll post photos from our walk.
