Locals and tourists plays piano at the Laguna beach

Hundreds of Laguna Beach locals and tourists gathered at Main Beach Sunday to look at and play the painted Piano donated by No Square Theatre as part of the Pacific Symphony's "OC Can You Play?" program.

Beach-goers were invited to look at the artwork of the Painted Piano and play some of their favorite tunes. In addition to the locals creating their own performances, the No Square Theatre choir members, led by artistic director Bree Burgess Rosen, sang a variety of fun songs for those happening to pass by on the beach.
In total, there are 20 painted pianos scattered around Orange County for the public to enjoy. The piano at Main Beach was donated by Phil Taylor, tuned by David Stoneman and painted by local artist Philip Womack.

Lily Roters, 16, and Kate Stewart, 17, sing and play a piano Sunday at Main Beach. The piano was donated by No Square Theatre as a part of the Pacific Symphony's "OC Can You Play?" program.
