IIT JEE Tips
The Indian Institute of Technology – Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE), bears a significant fame, as it acts as the dream gate of entrance to the seventeen IIT’s in India. Cracking IIT-JEE is not that easy, as it approves quality inflow of students, based on merits. Hence, it sets the question paper with a high standard of quality to assure consistent quality results.A survey result describes that out of 384, 977 candidates appeared for the IIT-JEE on April 12, 2009, only 10, 035 candidates were declared qualified for the admissions. At the same time, it is not that scary, as it appears to be! An energetic blend of hard work; confidence; quality preparation; clear planning and implementation of problem solving strategies, along with passion would fetch good results on one’s hands!

Join the lively forums, which would give you a better idea on your questions regarding IIT-JEE (if any), or you can also use such forums as an informative tools! Such forums help in knowing about the best books for IIT-JEE preparation; via these forums, the best materials/previous years question papers of IIT-JEE would be shared online; would help in getting ideas, regarding online tutorials/coaching for the preparation… You may also get a chance to network with some alumnus of IITs!
Select the coaching institutions, which bear a consistent success history. Do check, whether your choice of coaching center is working for you; if not, quit it immediately and shift to the one, which would comfort you! This is important, as being comfortable would make you more confident about your preparation. But, take swift decision and do not rattle for the entire year in selecting your coaching center.
Try to work on aptitude tests like, diagrammatic reasoning; numeric reasoning; inductive reasoning; fast track test, etc. to enhance your strategic problem solving ability and situational reasoning skills. Such practices would give you a break and at the same time would keep you updated with aptitude skills.
Go through the official website of IIT-JEE and get the detailed list of topics in each subject, i.e. physics, chemistry, mathematics and aptitude test. Prepare according to these listed topics.
Note: The aptitude test is conducted for B-Arch/B-Des courses; candidates have to get qualified in the aptitude test in order to become eligible for the admissions in the IIT’s.
Avoid monotonous study practices; relax your mind often by reading books; doing extra-curricular activities; physical exercises, etc. You can also read the IIT-JEE related articles, blogs… available in the internet to relax; by this way, you would also get informed
