Recently received this little gem from a potential client:

We will study the proposal and hopefully can come up with something positive to Close the Expectation Gap.

In other words: “You’re just too darn expensive!” … close the Expectation gap, my foot.

Wouldn’t the world work a whole lot more effectively if people just said what they were thinking?
