Super Bowl XLIV was played between Indiana Colts and  New Orleans Saints. The Indiana Colts represents the American Football Conference while the New Orleans Saints for the National Football Conference.

The New Orleans Saints, winning their first Super Bowl win, defeated the Indiana Colts and was named the National Football League Champion for the 2009 Season.

Drew Brees, Saints' quarterback was named the Super Bowl MVP.
