Warm, cooked apples for breakfast

Now the the weather is even cooler here, I’ve been making this for breakfast:

An Apple, not peeled, cored, and sliced into bite sized chunks

A splash of Vanilla

a sprinkling of Cinnamon

A handful of raw Walnuts

Cook the apple, cinnamon, and vanilla in a small, covered saucepan on medium low for 20 minutes (I like to put it on the stove and then go up to take my shower)

Pour into a bowl, top with walnuts and enjoy

This is so incredibly simple and basic and yet really delicious. The cooking brings out the natural sweetness in the apple so extra sweetener is not needed.
