New Year, New Hope

This year slipped away so quickly.  I don’t know where it went.  It was summer, I blinked, and here we are at the start of a brand new year.  I am grateful that this time of year reminds us to take a moment and reflect on the events of the passing calender.  This was a big year for our little family, a big year for the Daydream Nest Project and a year full of big changes.  There were victories and defeats.  Days when we were on top of the world and days that we wondered if we could go on.  There were smiles, adventures, tears, thrills, accomplishments and failures. There were days brimming with love, days teeming with solitude and dissuasion.  Times of applause and encouragement and times of negativity and confusion.  We kept on going.  Kept on moving forward, through the good times and the bad times.  It feels good to make it to a new year.  A year full of fresh possibilities.  A year just waiting to be discovered.  New beginnings.  New Hope.  This found art project is not over.  We have had a stumble or two along this journey, but there are many more dreams to be hatched.  There are still many Daydream Nests waiting to be discovered.  When leaving a nest for the start of the new year, we couldn’t think of a better place to leave a couple of dreams than New Hope.  Two Daydream Nests were left in New Hope, Pennsylvania, ready for their next adventure.  They are full of faith and dreams, and are very hopeful for the upcoming new year.
