The Plot :

After a mixup at some planet in a galaxy far away from ours, 2 Kids are sent rescued from their dying planet to find their quest of life. Both crash land in the nearest inhabitant " The Earth ". The blue skinned and big brain is " Mega Mind " and the cute lovable and supernatural kid is " The Metro Man ". After getting picked by all the kids from color to gestures, Megamind soon realizes that being Bad is one thing is really Good at. And thus, born a SuperVillain with amazing Intellect and dangerously wicked " Megamind ". The rivalry continues between Metro Man and Megamind from time to time to prove themselves being better than each other desperately but by the end of the day, its the Good, Metro Man reassures and puts back the PEACE. After a decoy trap working to perfection to kill Metro Man works, the city looses the Super Hero and hand over themselves to Megamind.

Soon Megamind realizes that there is no purpose of his life without a hero and tries to find a new meaningful life. how the events turned on and how The Super Bad becomes the Super Good Hero what makes up the rest.

My Verdict :

The very first thing that caught my full attention for the film is the comedy timing. There is no dark comedy but there is kiddish and subtle comedy that does make you feel better. The animation work and CGI is completely impressive. Texturing, Modelling and Cinematography is top-notch. Though I am kick - ass action lover who love High-Octane fights , unusually i found myself enjoying watching this flick. I mean the film also comes with a good moral like the last film " Descpicable Me ". I am not gonna say that this is completely new genre or a new story line, but the presentation of Good and Bad does make you feel fresh. There's comedy all along and what amazes you is sheer excellence of Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt lending their voice to Megamind and Metro Man. Some parts of the film did really made me feel little quirky but Tom McGrath ( Director ) did a fantastic job bringing comedy right on track. I mean how will you ever make a " Diffusion Gun " to chip in Super hero qualities into the blood so fast and get effected ? You think about 'em ;) .

Tina Fey as Roxanne Ritchie did a decent job. Love interest of Megamind would have been little more convincing rather than just getting caught in PROTECTION WEB. Minion a fish friend and guardian of Megamind does steal some of your attention for being " Fantastic Fish You ". I loved the outfits in the film and the soundtrack of classic AC/DC. The saying " There is a Ying for every Wang " makes you burp if you know what i mean ;). Megamind is for everybody who wants a good movie. Its recieved well by all and rated well by the critics too.
