This Bulgarian megalith is known by the locals as 'Братята' (Bratiata – 'The Brothers'). The 'window' between the two rocks has an almost ideal East-West orientation; one of the rocks faces South, and the taller one faces North. The northern Brother's balancing is absolutely stunning as it is standing on a very small surface as compared to its overall size and shape. It is more than 5 m in height and approximately 3 m wide. The southern rock stands above 4 metres. The platform on which they stand is artificially flattened.
