How To Enable The Action Button On Older iPhones

Published on October 23rd, 2023

The introduction of the Action Button in the Iphone 15 Pro series has revolutionized the way we interact with our devices, streamlining various tasks with a simple tap.

This innovation, however, may leave users with Older Iphone Models experiencing a touch of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). But fear not! You don’t have to be left behind.

Even without the luxury of a dedicated action button, users of older iPhone models can still enjoy Action Button-like functionality.

There’s no need for a physical button. By harnessing the power of the Shortcuts app, you can transform your iPhone’s Volume buttons into versatile Action Buttons.

The good news is that the Shortcuts app is readily available for most iPhone models running iOS 13 or later.

If, by any chance, you’ve accidentally removed it from your device, you can easily re-download Shortcuts from the App Store and unlock a world of possibilities.
