I read an article about chivalry and habits of some chivalrous men in a while ago. Yes these are habits, not consciously made. But, I have read somewhere that it takes about a month to form a new Habit.

If you believe chivalry isn’t dead and men are not pigs and you love your girl and want her her respect and love, here are some five habits you can cultivate in yourself. These are the gestures to go an Extra Mile to please your girl. Yes they are old-fashioned, but they still work like charms. Those who have such habits are the the gentleman they talk about in books and movies. And, you can be one of the real one.

1. Flowers, surprise the girls with flowers

How cliché it may sound, flower still has its charm on girls. Every losers, cheater knows to gift a flower on the Valentine’s Day but, only a rare gentleman picks a bouquet to surprise his girl randomly. You can’t do that all the time, but it is priceless every once in a while.

2. Hugs – an extra mile in tightness

It feels great being hugged. If you care for a girl, she would love your extra tightness at times. An extra effort to tell your girl about the kind of connection you have with her is priceless.

3. Watching her favorite shows

I agree, girl’s shows are girly and she doesn’t expect her dude to watch them. But, it might not always be true. If you really care for your girl, you might enjoy watching them just for company and enjoy it without expecting anything in return.

4. Opening the doors for her

If you care to get out of the car and open the passenger side of the door for your girl, you show your respect and the type of gentleman you are. This is an extra mile a lot of guys these days don’t care to waste time in.

5. Walking between her and the traffic

This is something some guys do out of care and mostly unconsciously. When walking in the sidewalk you can position yourself such that you shield her from the traffic. You don’t need to tell her, she will sense your care and appreciate your love for her.
