Most East Pittsburgh folks are familiar with Wood Street Bread Company in Wilkinsburg, through its breads available at East End Food Co-op and many other spots around town.
Some are aware the bakery has its facility along Wood Street in Wilkinsburg and has been baking there more than two decades, and used to have daily shop hours for the public. These days they are only open to the public from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursdays and Fridays. But man, do they have good French bread, raisin bread, cinnamon rolls (when in season), and other good stuff.
Until today, I'd never realized one of the ingredients in their bread is Devotion.
I proclaim it mighty yummuy.
