Almost every little town in the Puget Sound region has a waterfront and a marina, Kingston has that and a ferry terminal that takes you to Edmonds by car or a foot traffic only "Fast Ferry"  to Seattle. I painted my third competition piece on an overcast day for Edmonds and Beyond, a new, annual Plein Air event hosted by the Cole Gallery in Edmonds.
