"Walk to the Clam Beds" Dosewallips plein air painting by Robin Weiss

"Walk to the Clam Beds" 12x9 oil on panel $700

I got on a short roll posting awhile ago... until back to back events, exhibitions and workshops took all my time away..(not to mention a drywall job for a friend)  Although I have been Painting a lot I am going to pick up where I left off and finish posting paintings from the Dosewallips paintout earlier this summer. This is another one done out on the salt marsh. There is a trail through the sea grass that winds down to the beach and you see people with their buckets heading for the clam beds at low tide.

The Whidbey Island Plein Air event and Edmonds and Beyond plein air paintout are over.  Also the Cascadia Museum Auction Gala demo is in the past. A great time!!  I'll be posting the paintings from those events but want to let you know about an exhibition that is coming up in September at the mansion on the Bloedel Reservation . It will be a show of paintings done by the teaching artists associated with the Bloedel Reserve arts program directed by Amy Webber . There will be painting days facilitated by the artists and Master Classes taught by several artists as well. You can find more info        HERE.
