This painting completed in 2021 is another one that slipped through the cracks and was never posted to my blog.  There are several Apple trees on the Knowles Studio grounds that always get me inspired when the light comes through the leaves in the spring sunshine. I went out and did several plein air paintings and then did this studio piece. I love how the apples seem to glow from the inside when the light hits from behind and I tried to capture that by glazing thin layers of paint.
