A great road trip in Washington state is what they call the North Cascade Loop. It takes you past this stretch of the Wenatchee river after you go over Stevens Pass on the way to Leavenworth. I stopped to snap a couple photos of the fall color and a few years later did this studio painting.  It will be available at Arts in the Woods Studio Tour coming up this weekend the 11th, 12th and 13th.
