If you have been following my blog for awhile you have seen various views of My. Shuksan and Mt. Baker from Artists Point. It is a favorite Painting location for most plein air painters in Washington state. I try to get up every year and I got the chance last month before the wet weather got started. There was still smoke in the air from local wildfires. I picked up painting buddy Mark Bistranin on the way and we spent a spectacular day visiting tourists from around the world and capturing the beauty on canvas.
