Earlier this year our extended Family on my wife Ann's side got together in Washington state for the 2022 family adventure. This included family from Ohio, Florida and Ireland!  We had a great time hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest from whale watching in the San Juans to staying at the Paradise Lodge on Mount Rainier.  I didn't get to do any painting but was able to gather a lot of great reference photos. The larger studio work above resulted from those photos.
