Saweetie may be best known for making iconic club bangers and bops, but now the multihyphenate is ready to tackle a new craft: acting! Following small starring roles on shows like "Grown-ish" and, most recently, Peacock's "Bel-Air," the "Tap In" rapper is testing her Acting skills yet again in a new short film for Candy Crush Saga, which she says is "inspired by my favorite female spy movie."

"Honestly, I've been playing them for years, so when they reached out, it was a no-brainer," Saweetie tells POPSUGAR of teaming up with the virtual puzzle game. The rap star's imaginative film - which was released in honor of the Candy Crush All Stars tournament, kicking off on March 23 - finds her spy-like character and fellow Icy girls attempting a heist for a blue jewelry box, made by Icebox, before their plan is ultimately crushed.

Though Saweetie's film is only a 44-second skit, she says she's "just happy" to shoot something for what she calls a "great organic collaboration."

Now that she's caught the acting bug, Saweetie reveals she has her eye on more onscreen projects, noting that she "could definitely see myself transitioning into a role where I'm not playing myself," as she did in "Bel-Air" season two. "It was fun. They were very welcoming. The energy on set was just fun," she shares of working with the TV cast. "I was happy to be there, but I was like, 'Y'all want me to say anything else?'"

As for Saweetie's next role? She declares that she wants to "be a supervillain in a DC movie," as both she and her dad are big fans of the comic franchise. "That's what I'm manifesting," she adds. "We need more Black girl superheroes and supervillains." In the meantime, the rapper confirms fans can expect new music this year just in time for summer. Additionally, her long-awaited debut album may arrive before the year is up, too.
