If there's one thing the internet can't stop talking about this week, it's how Gerard Piqué allegedly cheated on Shakira. According to the theories circulating online, the 11-year-relationship ended after Shakira allegedly discovered some of her favorite jam had been eaten while she was away despite both Piqué and her two kids not liking it.

These theories came after the Colombian singer released her new music video, "Te Felicito," where Shakira opens the refrigerator to see a man's head on a platter. Fans interpreted this as a metaphor, and on came the #jamgate theories.

Though there has not been any direct confirmation from the "Hips Don't Lie" artist about how she discovered Piqué's infidelity (or if there was infidelity involved in the split at all), the internet has, to no surprise, run with the theory and responded accordingly.

In one TikTok, which has nearly 14 million views, one content creator used a pen to mark where she left the amount of jelly in the container along with text, "POV: When you found out how Shakira caught her husband cheating." In another tweet, one user wrote, "Shakira inside the jam jar investigating how much was missing."

Although this may be one of the more clever ways someone has found out they were being cheated on, it isn't the only one.
