Noah Centineo is confirming what we already suspected: Dwayne Johnson is the real deal. In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Centineo briefly spoke about working with the beloved actor on their upcoming DC Universe film, "Black Adam."

Of Johnson, Centineo said, "Dwayne [Johnson] is 99 percent more present than most people. They say don't meet your idols - not true with Dwayne."

In the superhero movie, Johnson plays the titular Adam, while Centineo will portray comic-book character Atom Smasher. "Black Adam" will mark the first live-action appearance of the DC Justice Society, rounded out by Hawkman (Aldis Hodge), Dr. Fate (Pierce Brosnan), and Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell).

Centineo first skyrocketed to fame after the release of his 2018 Netflix movie "To All the Boys I've Loved Before." He told Vanity Fair that the sudden influx of attention and his reception as a heartthrob overwhelmed him. "I got mobbed by a small army of fans," Centineo said. "I came inside and I rolled a cigarette - at this point I was still smoking - and I realized that I wasn't allowed to just go and smoke anymore. And the panic hit me."

Still, success was something he'd long worked toward: when he was 13 years old, his mother rented an apartment in Los Angeles so that she could take Centineo to auditions. Eventually, he told the outlet, "I dropped out of high school. It was just couch surfing in the Valley with these lost boys and girls whose parents aren't there but are paying their rent." It finally paid off when he got a role in "The Fosters." The rest is history.
