Dua Lipa's Birthday festivities are quite the fashion spectacle. On Monday, Aug. 22, the "Sweetest Pie" singer rang in her 27th year in a bold look worthy of a double take. Digging into the Dior archives while embracing a monochrome color story, she gave new life to an ensemble from John Galliano's spring 2000 collection.

Rendered in a denim print, the star's birthday look involves a thong bikini and a semisheer sarong wrapped around the waist. Two of her finishing accessories - a silver choker boasting a large flower from Hugo Kreit and a green flower-shaped ring - were infused with the Y2K spirit Lipa has become known for. The remaining accessories were a pair of silver hoop earrings, orange-tinted shield sunglasses, and blue monogram Dior boots from the same collection.

With the help of her stylist Lorenzo Posocco, Lipa pulled off the vintage-meets-modern moment effortlessly. "🦋 27 feels like heaven 🧿," she captioned her Instagram carousel post. "thank you for the birthday wishes!!!!" Surrounded by friends (including fashion designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin and model Sarah Lysander) and family in Ibiza, the pop star welcomed the new year in style.

Lipa's three-piece denim print set is only the second in a series of exciting birthday looks shared on Instagram. The same day, she revealed the dress she wore to dinner in a new image gallery, posing in a fitted, multicolor leather maxi and black boots.

On Sunday, Aug. 21, she kicked things off in a full Marc Jacobs ensemble that featured the tiniest disc bra top she's worn yet. The crystal-embellished design was paired with a high-waisted white maxi skirt and Jacobs's fall 2022 leather Mary-Janes with a sky-high platform.
